Lifeline

This program offers a monthly discount to a qualifying household for voice services, qualifying broadband-only service, or voice + qualifying service. * Qualifying broadband service refers to a broadband speed of 25 Mbps (down)/ 3 Mbps (up).

Discount Amount (depends on the type of service):

Landline service:
- $24.00 (voice service or voice + broadband service).**
- $9.25 (broadband-only service).
Wireless service:
- $9.25 (broadband-only service or broadband + voice service).
- $5.25 (voice-only service).

Eligibility Criteria:

Food Stamps
MO HealthNet (Medicaid)
Supplemental Security Income
Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit
Federal Public Housing Assistance, or
Annual household income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty level.

The Federal Government’s Lifeline is a government assistance program, it is non-transferable, only eligible consumers may enroll in the program, and it is limited to one discount per household. The Lifeline program provides assistance to lower your monthly cost of internet, phone, or a bundled package of both. A qualifying customer can get up to $9.25 a month applied to their bill.

Disability Assistance

This program provides a monthly discount of $24.00 to qualifying landline consumers for voice service or voice service + broadband service. The program is not available for a broadband-only service. A consumer qualifying for both the Lifeline and Disabled program can not subscribe to both programs.

State Blind Pension
State Aid to Blind Persons
State Supplemental Disability Assistance Payments Administered by the Family Support Division
Social Security Disability
